Well I convinced XEmacs to go the Linux way with version numbers, so
I'm happy to continue the tradition. :-)

Pretty much what I had in mind except I was thinking we start at 22.1
release that as our Beta.[1] Then asap get 22.2 out the door as our
first Stable (don't like the idea of "gamma"). 22.3 becomes next Beta
which will become 23.0 Stable with multithreads and other sexiness.

So hopefully in a few short months we'll be at least 2 full major
versions in front of XEmacs or GNU/Emacs.

Yep. And I _*LOVE*_ it!!

Totally agree!

Fantastic. Consider yourself the "Sexy-KDE Man".

Footnotes:
[1] This will be basically XEmacs 21.4.16 with a name
     change... s/XEmacs/SXEmacs/ s/xemacs/sxemacs/ and probably
nothing else. I'd like to release it within a day or so of
21.4.16 being released. Hmm, that's pretty important, I'll post
a new thread on this in a minute.
