It's easy. Everything related to SXEmacs goes to sxemacs-devel. I
set up brainstorm before the name was settled on. I intend to keep
the brainstorm list open as a place for us (or anyone) to discuss any
kind of idea they want.
I expect the brainstorm list to be dormant until after we are rocking
and rolling with SXEmacs. But it's there if you ever want to throw
some weird-arsed crazy ideas about. (you know, new business ventures,
curing cancer, new ice-cream flavours, whatever).
Anything related to SXEmacs should go to sxemacs-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxx
Understand now?
[SXEmacs and Packages]
For now, I don't want to do anything with packages. We'll just use
the XEmacs.org packages and distribution points. With one
exception... We will include xemacs-base and efs packages in our
tarballs so that SXEmacs will be PUI capable out of the box.
This _will_ change!
I envisage a SXEmacs packaging system that is radically different from
what XEmacs has. I'll give you a hint, it'll have a PostgreSQL DB
behind it.
You'll love it, I promise. :-)
