My favorite holy war!

Version control is one of those things the OS world still struggles
with.  I like CVS because of its simplicity and ubiquitousness, but it's
stupid and old and has a lot of crust.  I like SVN because of some of
its newer features, but it's got so many prerequisites and is so damn
big that it's a pain in the ass to install and use.

I haven't looked at GNU arch, but have heard great things about it.

I don't care what we go with, but SVN will probably make me whine more
than the others.
