No, not about the project in general, just about where we fork from.
In the last week or two our good friend, Mr Wing has become very
active, committing huge chunks of code and documentation. I've been
running 21.5 for the last couple of days and while it is still _very_
slow for me, it has been remarkably stable.
Other things that have made me think again about this are:
bignum
bigfloat
ratio
DSO
KKCC
All of which I fully intended to "backport" to SXEmacs, all of which
are currently present and working in XEmacs 21.5, none of which are
either present or working (well) in 21.4.
Another advantage of forking from 21.5 is that we can start coding
just as soon as I tie up a couple of loose ends and put the finishing
touches on sppm.texi.
One disadvantage (for me) is that XWEM does not work with 21.5
(Evgeny!!!).
I want to know what _everyone_ thinks. Should we continue as planned
and fork from 21.4.16 or should we fork from 21.5 CVS HEAD, or from
somewhere else?
