Well the search thing at the XE list archive is about as useful as
tits on a bull (searching for that Message-Id returned zero results),
so maybe you'll have better luck at gmane.
One of these days I'll set up nnir.el so I can find shit here.

Without seeing your patch and not being able to test it I am not
prepared to comment on whether this is a good idea or not. I am
willing to say that if it only reverts Turnbull's patch (and it is the
patch I think it is) then I think that this is a big mistake.

I don't use semantic, but I do use No Gnus. I see _NO_ problems in
this area.
What is the recipe for reproducing the bug with Gnus?
