What do you mean by 6 branches for all sorts of t(ool)kits? Remember,
not all toolkits will be running on a certifable *nix.
I'm not sure a meta toolkit layer is going to make anything more
easier.
And quite frankly, I see no reason why a meta toolkit would cut down
on branches.
(strange, auto fill and M-q don't seem to use the same column .... )
Anyways, I'm just completely baffled and am rambling here...
