Hey all,

Please direct your followups/replies to sxemacs-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxx
Reply-To and MFT headers set accordingly.

I am going to start working on a Qt version of SXEmacs soon. Soon
being around the start of March, probably.

For those of you who don't know, SXEmacs is a recent fork of XEmacs.

I will be heading the Qt branch which Steve, the SXEmacs project
leader, will merge in when it's ready.

I will be working on Qt X11 and if I manage, Qt Embedded too. I'm not
sure how I'll handle it if Qt OS X needs anything different from X11.
I hope there won't be any, but if so, I'll treat them on a case by
case basis.

I will not be working on anything to do with KDE myself. I don't have
it and I'm not going to install it. I can test it on my sister's
laptop occasionally so accepting patches shouldn't be a problem.

Qt Windows won't happen. SXEmacs does not support that platform.

Johann
