Now I'm a bit confused, is Motif inherently buggy (like Windows) or is
it just the Motif code in XE that's buggy?

Hmm, k.

I have no idea. So far I've only seen pics of some Motif widgets.
AFAIK, Athena is just a demo widget set from MIT with no real design
behind it (info from a book written before '97). I think Xaw3d is
more complete than Athena, but I'm not even sure of that.

Right. I'm still reading a bit on Motif programming, and Xt and Xlib
as well. (Motif is just a widget set on top of the toolkit Xt on top
of the basic functions in Xlib -- how I just fell further in love with
Qt)

Yes, that's true, and we also need to plan things a bit.
I'm not entirely sure what I was thinking when I wrote that sentence,
I just lost the thread. I'm sure it's something very important
that'll haunt us next year.

Good ;) I'm not sure I want to but I just might make a slight effort
for demo purposes. Such as the Motif File|Open dialog.
