Kostas, could you please keep sxemacs-devel in the Cc or To. Thanks.

You'll have to let us know how this turns out for you. Performance
wise, SXEmacs should be every bit as good (if not slightly better) as
XEmacs 21.4.

For now, I'm defaulting tooltalk to off. I'm a little apprehensive
though... according to configure.ac, a couple things require tooltalk
(CDE, and sparcworks).

This seems really odd. configure sets the pgsql lib directory with:
-L`pg_config --libdir`
You don't think Solaris' /bin/sh is not liking those backticks, do
you?

This has me stumped, but I have an idea. Unfortunately I don't have
access to a Solaris box to test on. Would you be able to do a quick
test for me, please?
Simply rename `install.sh' in the toplevel dir to `install-sh', then
run configure.
Does INSTALL in the toplevel Makefile get set to `INSTALL =
./install-sh -c'? And, does it fix your #7?

Yes, the website is definitely lacking. It really is my fault (even
though I have a designated webmaster), I keep putting it off because I
hate HTML so much. :-( I will try to get something up as soon as I
can. Thanks for reminding me.

Sadly, no. :-( Besides, as you said, it should be prominent so you
couldn't have missed it, had it only existed.
