How to get the source with tla
Getting the source via tla is easy, and
using my repo as an example, you would take the following
steps:

$ tla register-archive http://arch.sxemacs.org/2008/
-
$ tla get steve@sxemacs.org--2008/sxemacs--main--22.1.10
sxemacs
That will put a copy of the latest SXEmacs sources into
$PWD/sxemacs.
Another way to get the development sources are the
snapshot tarballs.
Although these are not made available in any kind of regular
frequency, so most likely are not as up to date as the tla
repos.
Source tarballs via FTP or HTTP
FTP Mirror services proudly provided by
Planet Mirror
These tarballs are just the source and do
not
contain any arch control files.
