When you run SXEmacs under X, each Emacs frame has a menu-bar at the top which provides commands for editing, help and other options. All these options are also available via key commands, the menus just provide convenient short-cuts. The key commands are displayed right besides some of the options. The following is a brief description of the four default menus on the menu bar:
